Du kan snart varme op til biografpremieren på Tron: Ares ved at nyde de to første film i Disneys nyrestaurerede udgaver med 4K Dolby Vision-billede og Dolby Atmos-lyd.

Tron Legacy blevet klar i 4K Dolby Vision og Atmos i Danmark (se links). Den originale artikel fremgår herunder.
Den originale Tron blev udgivet i 1982. Filmrullerne er nu blevet digitalt scannet og restaureret for at "rette snavs, forvrængning og andre ufuldkommenheder for at sikre en fejlfri billedkvalitet", ifølge Disney, under opsyn af instruktør Steven Lisberger.
Tron: Legacy er blevet remasteret i HDR fra den digitale kilde under opsyn af instruktør Joseph Kosinski.

Dolby Vision og Dolby Atmos
Begge film udkommer på UHD Blu-ray fra den 16. september som steelbooks i USA. I Danmark forventes skiverne klar i slutningen af september. De er hver især trykt på 66GB skiver.

Disney bekræfter, at de to film også udsendes i den højere kvalitet på digitale VOD-platforme, altså filmbutikker, hvor man køber og lejer film enkeltvis såsom Apple TV appen.
- "De to udgivelser præsenteres i betagende Dolby Vision-billedkvalitet og medrivende Dolby Atmos-lyd for den ultimative hjemmeoplevelse," siger Disney.
Optakt til Tron: Ares
Hvis du ikke har hørt det, får en tredje film, Tron: Ares, premiere i danske biografer den 9. oktober, med Jared Leto i hovedrollen. Den fuldender Tron som trilogi.
Tron: Ares vil senere blive udgivet i 4K Dolby Vision og Dolby Atmos til hjemmebrug. Denne dato er endnu ikke blevet meldt ud. Den kommer givetvis også på Disney+ senere hen.
